On June 2001, 15  resp. 19
the members of the expedition came back to Germany. Unfortunately the climb to Mount Logan did not succeed completely. Because of the disease of one member we had to brake off and to descent  from camp 4 immediately. But also the constant bad weather did not allow a successful climb at this time. According our information from beginning of the season till 9th of June, the day of our fly off the base camp, on Mt. Logan only 2 groups has reached the main top. This explains, against which unfavourable conditions the several parties had to fight. Nevertheless with one summit success we could return home. In this situation we could ascent Prospector Peak,  18517 ft. We have entered it while a good weather break (for half a day) on 6th of June 2001 on the south west ridge.
