Mount Logan ( 5.959 m )

The largest icefields on the planet outside of Greenland and Antarctica are frozen into the corner of this continent, in Kluane Park, Yukon Territory. Dimensions are Himalayan. Vistas are polar. This is where Mt. Logan towers. The King Trench is technically simple, but serious and committing.
There are no crowds here as there are on Denali. This is a true wilderness expedition to one of the earth's greatest summits. Mount Steele or the Kaskawulsh Glacier are also big trips, but shorter and less committing. Food, tents, technical equipment, radios, access flight, park permits, and access from Whitehorse are included.
